Our recently renovated Pillows Grand Hotel Reylof is located in the middle of the historic centre of Ghent. The luxurious hotel with 157 rooms and suites, nine meeting rooms and a modern spa & fitness has a unique and warm atmosphere. Your role
As Reservations Agent you process telephone and mail reservations from guests. With commercial insight you think along with the guest, map out all information and don’t forget to upsell our products and services in the process.  Besides this you enter both individual and group reservations into the relevant systems. Of course you adjust the relevant feedback from our guests and send out confirmations. In addition, you also process the reservations that come in through our reservation system (PMS). You check all reservations and follow up any requests, such as booking a table at the restaurant. You work closely with the Sales, Revenue and Front Office departments in making the right proposals. You work fulltime and you have varying shifts from 9 am to 5 pm or from 11 am to 7 pm.

Check your profile;

• You have several years of experience in a similar role or as Front Office employee in a Hotel
• You are enthusiastic and you have strong communicative skills
• You are known to handle stress well, you are punctual and you have commercial insight
• Knowledge of reservations systems is a plus
• Besides English, you speak fluent French or Dutch
• You are available fulltime and you have varying shifts from 9 am to 5 pm or from 11 am to 7 pm. Occasionally you might work a Saturday.
